Anti-glia-α1a T cell receptor (1383P.A.3), pCDTCR1 (TCR-YC0456)

All products and services are For Research Use Only and CANNOT be used in the treatment or diagnosis of disease.

Celiac disease (CeD) provides an opportunity to study the specificity underlying human Tcell responses to an array of similar epitopes presented by the same human leukocyte antigen-II (HLA-II) molecule. Provided is a TCR which binds the immunodominant HLA-DQ2.5-restricted gluten epitopes, DQ2.5- glia-α1a (PFPQPELPY).

Target

  • Introduction
  • In HLA-DQ2-associated CD, a series of gluten epitopes have been characterized, including peptides derived from wheat subfractions (α-, β-, γ-, and ω-gliadin and low- and high-moleclular-weight glutenins) and closely related sequences in barley hordeins and rye secalins. The immunodominant wheat gluten peptide comprises two overlapping T-cell determinants (DQ2.5-glia-α1a (PFPQPELPY) and DQ2.5-glia-α2 (PQPELPYPQ)) contained within a single, protease-resistant α-gliadin 11 mer.
