The chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) expression test is an essential step for CART development. Highly sensitive and robust valuation of CAR expression on engineered cells is crucial for preclinical CART development, and clinical manufacturing of CART cells. Creative Biolabs has developed a comprehensive range of CAR detection reagents to speed up CART development. These detection reagents include a variety of special target antigen proteins labeled with different fluorescence, anti-Fab antibodies, and anti-G4S linker antibodies to facilitate CAR expression assessment by flow cytometry.

Special target antigen proteins labeled with different fluorescence serve as a widely used option for the CAR expression test, which offers high specificity and sensitivity with low staining background, and minimizing processing time. Universal CAR detection reagents, such as protein L, and anti-Fab antibodies, which are non-antigen-specific and are often used when suitable specific assays are not available or when reagent costs are limited. These reagents are more cost-effective, but at the same time show cross-reactivity with IgG-like proteins that may have higher background staining.
