DSPE-PEG-Galactose
Cat. No.: TDLD-0126-LD630
DSPE-PEG-Galactose
DSPE-PEG-Galactose comprises DSPE lipid conjugated to galactose via a PEG spacer. DSPE provides hydrophobic anchoring for lipid-based nanocarriers, while PEG enhances solubility and prolongs circulation. Galactose functions as a targeting ligand for asialoglycoprotein receptors (ASGPR) highly expressed on hepatocytes. This enables liver-specific drug delivery for treating hepatic diseases, including hepatitis, liver cancer, and metabolic disorders. The conjugate demonstrates excellent receptor-mediated internalization, making it valuable for hepatocyte-directed therapies. Please note that this product is intended for research purposes only.
