NCR3LG1 is a human protein encoded by NCR3LG1 gene. Among its related pathways are immunoregulatory interactions between a Lymphoid and a non-Lymphoid cell and Innate Immune System. It is a member of the B7 family of immunoreceptors, is a cell-surface ligand for the NKp30-activating receptor expressed on natural killer cells. B7-H6 is not detected in normal human tissues at steady state but is expressed on tumor cells. NCR3LG1 is expressed on proinflammatory CD14+CD16+ monocytes in sepsis conditions and is linked to an increased mortality.
