Fast acid Bacillus staining kits are used to detect and identify acid bacilli in the tissue.
Bacilli are rod-shaped bacterial organisms.
One of the main functions of the dye is to identify tuberculosis in lung tissue, but also to identify tissue infected with other bacilli.
Contains Carbol Fucsin Reagent, double bleach and Blue Methylene Reagent Loeffler as a contrast dye.
