Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls:
- Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest.
- Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen.
- Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.

Antibody Diluent Solution using HRP-labeled-streptavidin and a biotinylated secondary antibody.
# Chromogenic counterstains are used when the Primary Antibody
Antibody Diluent Solution is visualized using HRP or alkaline phospatase combined with DAB, AEC, or similar enzyme substrates. The traditional combination is HRP/DAB with hematoxylin to stain nuclei. Eosin, for cytoplasmic staining, is often used in combination with hematoyxolin.
