Feulgen Kit (CAT#: ITS-1022-ZP46)

Five-reagent DNA staining kit according to Feulgen. For semi-quantitative DNA assays in histological and cytological samples. The sample is first treated with hydrochloric acid, which produces aldehyde groups of DNA, which can be visualized by Schiff (BioSchiff) reagent. The reaction is specific for nuclear DNA.

The Feulgen kit from Creative Biolabs contains an additional cytoplasmic staining contrast reagent for clearer visualization of stained DNA. Contrast reagent is not required during staining, but it provides better contrast to the stained DNA of the sections.
