Histology Assay - Oral cavity tumor with normal tissue microarray, 6 Cases/24 Cores

CAT#: ITS-1022-ZP2023
Description
Creative Biolabs has expertise in sample preparation for Immuno-Oncology histology services and immunohistochemistry (IHC). We understand that not all tissues are suitable for Immuno-Oncology studies. To support the specific tissue requirements for Immuno-Oncology projects, we have created a large range of FFPE blocks and custom Tumor Microarrays (TMAs) that have been specially selected for the presence of invasive margin, together with accompanying tumor/immune cell PD-L1 scores and TIL assessment (high/medium/low).

The services we provide as part of our Histology & IHC Platform are listed below:
- Standard & custom grossing
- Bone decalcification
- Standard & custom FFPE generation
- H&E Staining
- Marker optimization for IHC
- Slide Scanning
- TMA creation

Creative Biolabs Immuno-Oncology's histology and immunohistochemistry assay are custom developed and fully optimized to meet your needs in preclinical research. We also provide a comprehensive list of antibodies for IHC for your histology research. Contact us for more information.
Applications
- Expression, distribution and heterogeneity of novel I/O targets across multiple disease settings
- Examine novel I/O target expression in relation to tumor immune microenvironment e.g. checkpoint inhibitors
- Spatial relationships of I/O in tumor microenvironment
- Relate novel I/O target expression to tumor mutation status
- Identify disease segments most likely to respond toimmunotherapy
- Co-expression of I/O targets for rational immunotherapy combinations
- Biomarker development for patient selection

Custom Tissue Sample
As an ancillary service, Creative Biolabs has expertise in creating custom Tumor Microarrays (TMAs). We have created several FFPE TMAs, organized by cancer indication and collated from over 800 well characterized tumor bank models in duplicate for target expression evaluation.
Notes
1. TMA slides were sectioned and stored at 4°C and may not be fresh cut, but still suitable for IHC. Please request fresh cut if experiment involves phospho-specific antibodies, RNA studies, FISH or ISH, etc. A minimum of 3 slides per TMA must be purchased to cover the cost of trimming for fresh sectioning.
2. Most TMA slides were not coated with an extra layer of paraffin (tissue cores can be easily seen on the glass). To prevent tissue detachment during antigen retrieval, unbaked slides must be baked for at least 30 to 120 minutes at 60°C. before putting into xylene for de-paraffinization. Baked slides were sent out baked for 2 hours. In the following specsheet,"*" means invalid core; "-" means no applicable or negative in IHC markers.
Histology Services
1. Send your samples or request for custom tissue samples development
Send your samples to our facility via any carrier. Or email info@creative-biolabs.com to let us know your specific needs for custom tissue development. expect the samples.

2. Embedding and Sectioning
Our team processes your samples for paraffin or OCT embedding and sectioning.

3. Staining
Our team can process your samples for H&E, Masson's trichrome or any histological stain. We have expertise in immunohistochemistry (up to two labels) or immunofluorescence (up to 5 labels). If no labeling is needed, we can also deliver unstained slides.

4. Imaging
Our team can help digitize your slides and deliver digital image files. Immunofluorescent slides are imaged, and individual channels are stored for further analysis.

5. Histology Analysis
Our image analysis team can perform quantitative image analysis on your images.
