Description
Switched memory B cells, also called CD19 + CD27 + IgD − cells, are indicators of normal B-cell activation and development in germinal centers in lymph nodes or other secondary lymphoid tissues. This kit has been developed to isolate untouched switched memory B cells from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) by depletion of unwanted cells. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, molecular biology and functional assays.

Molecular Mechanism of Action
Unwanted cells are labeled with a cocktail of biotinylated CD2, CD14, CD16, CD36, CD43, CD235a (glycophorin A), Anti-IgM, and Anti-IgD antibodies.
