Kasumi-3 In Vitro Post-translational Modifications Assay
CAT#: ITS-1122-YF4084
Target Cell Organism: Human
Target Cell Name: Kasumi-3
Assay Type: Gene and Protein Expression Assays
Assay Overview
This assay is to provide Kasumi-3-based In Vitro Post-translational Modifications Assay to accelerate our client's oncology projects. The assay will be customized according to the specific requirements. Please contact our scientists to discuss more details.
Target Cell Name
Kasumi-3
Target Cell Organism
Human
Target Cell Background
The cell line was established from the blast cells of a myeloperoxidase-negative acute leukemia patient. Treatment with either interleukin (IL)-2, IL-3, IL-4, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GMCSF) or stem cell factor induced the proliferation, characteristic of undifferentiated leukemia.
Related Diseases
Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia; AML
Research Area
Oncology
Assay Name
In Vitro Post-translational Modifications Assay
Short Description
Kasumi-3-cell based In Vitro Post-translational Modifications Assay
Assay Description
Immunoassays and mass spectrometry techniques are considered ideal techniques for the detection of post-translational modification. Both the genetic and epigenetic modifications have contributed to the initiation and progression of cancer.
Assay Type
Gene and Protein Expression Assays
Assay Type Details
Following transcription, primary transcript RNA is converted into mature RNA by post-transcriptional modifications. Post-transcriptional modification includes three major steps namely the addition of a 5'cap, addition of a 3'polyadenylation tail and RNA splicing. Stability of RNA has been considered as very important for gene expression and proteins at the post-transcriptional level.
