Microarray technology can be usually used for gene expression profiling of cancers. It has the potential to evaluate thousands of gene expressions at the same time. It provides valuable information on cancer subcategories, disease prognosis, and treatment outcomes. Microarray technology may supplement standard diagnostic procedures in oncology and allow more personalized patient management methods. With one of the largest microarray capacities in the world, Creative Biolabs generates high-quality data and enables our customers to complete their tumor profiling studies quickly and affordably. Based on extensive test and analysis experience for research customers around the world, we offer high-quality microarray-based tumor profiling services for research purposes. Our microarrays have been used to analyze and identify extensively the genetic and epigenetic makeup of cancer cells such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP), DNA methylation, mRNA, and miRNA. Complete services include target preparation, hybridization, imaging, and signal quantification.

As a multiplex genomics approach, microarray can be used to target and quantify specific genes by hybridizing the nucleic acid to a chip, providing high-throughput analysis of genetic information. The development of gene expression analysis based on the method of high-throughput microarray has allowed the level of expression of thousands of genes in tumor samples at the same time. Creative Biolabs provides robust cancer profiling microarray services to assist you in cancer studies. Our microarray services support a broad range of cancer genomics research applications, from DNA to RNA analysis, epigenetics, and more. We provide several microarray services, including but not limited to:

Q1: What sample quantity/concentration is required for an experiment?
A1: The amount of sample needed depends on different factors. Therefore the exact amount of sample can only be determined individually for each project.
Q2: Do I need to run a control/known sample?
A2: It is recommended to run a control or known sample along with the test samples.
Q3: How many replicates should I use in my microarray experiment?
A3: To be able to use standard T-tests, you should have at least 3 replicates. ANOVA would need 5 replicates.
Q4: For FFPE samples, should we send FFPE samples or the extracted RNA?
A4: Due to the severe degradation of RNA extracted from FFPE samples, we recommend that you send us your FFPE samples, and we will extract the RNA for you using our optimized.
