Description
The ModifiSite™ α-Glucosidase Assay Kit is a standard screening tool for identifying inhibitors of carbohydrate digestion, a primary mechanism for type 2 diabetes management. This assay validates compounds that delay glucose absorption, supporting the development of therapeutics that blunt post-prandial hyperglycemia. It is also used in research for Pompe disease to assess lysosomal enzyme activity.
Features
Uses specific p-nitrophenol substrate; Standard screen for inhibitors treating type 2 diabetes.
