Short Description
Achieve accurate and reliable ADH1C staining with this comprehensive IHC kit, featuring a complete set of pre-optimized reagents designed to minimize background and maximize signal intensity.
Description
ADH1C (Alcohol dehydrogenase 1C), also called ADH3, is a zinc-containing enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of alcohol to acetaldehyde, a rate-limiting step in ethanol metabolism. ADH1C is active in the intestine and kidney during fetal and early postnatal life and persists in the stomach and liver in adulthood.
