Short Description
Obtain detailed visualization of AK2 with this advanced IHC kit, featuring a carefully balanced formulation designed to maximize signal intensity and specificity for accurate target localization.
Description
AK2 (Adenylate kinase 2, mitochondrial), also called ADK2, belongs to the adenylate kinase family. It plays a critical role in energy metabolism and transfer by regulating the ATP/ADP ratio between the cytoplasmic matrix and mitochondria. AK2 expression increases during adipocyte and B cell differentiation. It catalyzes the reversible transfer of a phosphoryl group from ATP to AMP. AK2 mutations cause reticular dysgenesis (RDYS).
