Albumin is the most abundant protein in blood plasma, and its serum levels are associated with various diseases. Albumin is exclusively expressed by well-differentiated hepatocytes, making anti-albumin a marker for hepatocytes. Additionally, glycated serum albumin is a potential biomarker for diabetes.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
