OncoIHC™ BAK Ready-To-Use IHC Kit

For the precise and reliable visualization of BAK, this IHC kit offers a complete set of ready-to-use reagents and an optimized protocol for consistent and accurate staining.

The protein encoded by this gene is part of the BCL2 protein family, which regulates apoptosis. BCL2 family members can form oligomers or heterodimers that either promote or inhibit apoptosis. This protein localizes to mitochondria and induces apoptosis by interacting with and accelerating the opening of the mitochondrial voltage-dependent anion channel, leading to membrane potential loss and cytochrome c release. It also interacts with tumor suppressor P53 following cellular stress.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
