Short Description
Simplify CTSD staining with this user-friendly IHC kit, featuring pre-optimized reagents for a direct antigen retrieval to coverslip application.
Description
CTSD (Cathepsin D), also known as CPSD, belongs to the peptidase A1 family. It is widely expressed and plays a role in proteolytic degradation, cell invasion, and apoptosis. As a lysosomal acid protease, it is found in neutrophils and monocytes. CTSD is implicated in the pathogenesis of several diseases, including breast cancer and potentially Alzheimer's disease.
