HADHA (Trifunctional enzyme subunit alpha, mitochondrial) is part of a trifunctional enzyme that catalyzes three key reactions in the mitochondrial beta-oxidation pathway. This pathway is crucial for the breakdown of long-chain fatty acids to produce energy. Deficiencies in HADHA are linked to trifunctional protein deficiency and long-chain 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency, both of which result in metabolic disorders like maternal acute fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP).

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
