Ensure consistent Histone H1.0 staining with this pre-prepared IHC kit, supplying reagents tailored for efficient, start-to-finish staining.
Description
Histones are fundamental nuclear proteins essential for the formation of nucleosomes, the structural units of chromosomal fibers in eukaryotic cells. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 base pairs (bp) of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer, which includes two copies of each of the four core histones: H2A, H2B, H3, and H4. Linker histone H1 interacts with the DNA between nucleosomes, facilitating the formation of higher-order chromatin structures. Linker histones, such as H1F0, are critical for maintaining chromatin compaction, especially in cells that are in the terminal stages of differentiation or have low cell division rates. H1.0 (also known as H1F0 or H1FV) is ubiquitously expressed in various tissues across vertebrates.

Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls: - Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest. - Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen. - Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
