Kallikreins are serine proteases with diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and serve as potential cancer and disease biomarkers. Kallikrein-related peptidase 3, known as PSA (prostate-specific antigen), is used in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
