UCP2 (uncoupling protein 2) is a mitochondrial carrier protein involved in energy regulation and has broad tissue distribution. UCP2 is implicated in diabetes and cancer, but it has a short half-life of less than 1 hour. This antibody was raised against the full-length UCP2 protein and may cross-react with UCP3.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
