YWHAZ, also known as 14-3-3 zeta, is a member of the 14-3-3 family of phosphoserine/phosphothreonine-binding proteins. The 14-3-3 proteins interact with a wide range of proteins and have diverse functions. The seven isoforms (gamma, epsilon, beta, zeta, sigma, theta, tau) form multiple homo- and hetero-dimers. 14-3-3 proteins are highly expressed in the brain and have been linked to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
