Product Overview
The Peptide Pool is a lyophilized mixture of 15 peptides, with sequences from the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV). The pool consists of defined MHC class I-restricted T cell epitopes, and can be used as a positive control to stimulate CD8+ T cells. These peptides are restricted by certain highly frequent HLA types (HLA: A2, A3, A11, A24, B68, B44, B27).
Applications
Antigen specific T-cell stimulation, Immune monitoring, T-cell assays, T-cell expansion
Source
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)
Recommended Use
The EBV-MHC Class I Control Peptide Pool is recommended as the positive control for detecting antigen-specific CD8+ cells in human PBMC. The Pool stimulates CD8+ memory T cells to release IFN-γ. Such assays include ELISPOT, CTL and Intracellular Cytokine Assays using human PBMC.
