Hanks' Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) is a saline solution used to keep the osmotic pressure and pH in cells. It is used in a variety of cell culture applications, such as preparation of cells or maintenance of physiological pH. PharmaOnco™ HBSS is supplemented with 10 mM HEPES and sodium bicarbonate, does not contain phenol red or antibiotics.
