Creative Biolabs has developed a series of mediums and supplements for cell culture, expansion and differentiation. Methylcellulose-based medium is optimized for the detection and quantification of human hematopoietic progenitor cells in bone marrow, mobilized peripheral blood, peripheral blood, and cord blood samples using colony-forming unit (CFU) assays. It is suitable for use with CD34+ enriched cells, mononuclear cells, and cells isolated by other purification methods. This medium has been formulated to support optimal growth of erythroid progenitor cells, granulocyte-macrophage progenitor cells, and multipotential granulocyte, erythroid, macrophage, megakaryocyte progenitor cells.
