PharmaOnco™ CD45.1 Bone Marrow Cells, C57BL/6 Mouse (CAT#: IC-LX069)

DatasheetDatasheet
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CD45.1 Bone Marrow Cells, C57BL/6 Mouse for using in transplant and adoptive transfer studies to track the donor and host cells through the different alleles, but also can be used generate mature monocytes and macrophages from progenitor cells in the marrow.
Description
CD45.1 Bone Marrow Cells refer to bone marrow cells from C57BL/6 mice that express the CD45.1 antigen. The CD45.1 antigen is a common cell surface marker used to distinguish between different mouse strains in research experiments.
Species character
The C57BL/6 mouse is the most commonly-used inbred mouse strain available and is employed in numerous research areas, including immunology, genetics, diabetes and obesity, neurobiology, cardiovascular biology, and developmental biology. They are routinely used as the background strain for generation of congenics carrying modified genes and/or transgenes. These mice carry the H-2b haplotype and their immune cells are commonly used in immune-based assays.
Background
BMCs have multiple utility for transplantation as they support stem and progenitor cells and may differentiate into a number of cell types. BMCs including MSCs and HSCs have a high potential for differentiation into liver cells.
