DatasheetDatasheet
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CMV-Specific CD4+ T cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
CMV-specific CD4+ T cells are a subset of T cells that are specifically targeted against cytomegalovirus (CMV), a common virus in the herpes family. These cells play a crucial role in the immune response against CMV infection, as they help to coordinate and regulate the activities of other immune cells such as CD8+ T cells, B cells, and macrophages.
Background
CMV-specific CD4+ T cells are a subset of T cells that are specific for cytomegalovirus (CMV), a common viral infection in humans. These T cells play a crucial role in the immune response against CMV infection by recognizing and targeting infected cells for destruction. One of the key functions of CMV-specific CD4+ T cells is to help activate other immune cells, such as CD8+ T cells and B cells, to mount an effective immune response against the virus. They do this by releasing cytokines and other signaling molecules that stimulate the activation and proliferation of these other immune cells.
