CHOB2-Tg(Human αVβ1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human αVβ1 (NM_002211.3). αVβ1 integrin is a multifunctional receptor involved in cell adhesion, migration, angiogenesis, and tissue repair. This cell line can be used to study αVβ1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
Integrins are heterodimeric transmembrane receptors composed of α and β subunits. The αVβ1 integrin specifically consists of the αV (alpha-V) subunit and the β1 (beta-1) subunit. αVβ1 integrin binds to several extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins, including fibronectin, vitronectin, and osteopontin. αVβ1 integrin is expressed in various tissues and cell types, including epithelial cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and certain immune cells. It is primarily localized on the cell surface, where it mediates interactions with the surrounding ECM.

Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
