PharmaOnco™ HEK293T-Tg(Human GPR39 Receptor) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone

CAT#: ITS-0624-HMM490
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human GPR39 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which GPR39 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human GPR39 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPR39 (NM_001508.1). GPR39 receptor is a zinc-sensing GPCR involved in regulating a wide range of physiological processes in both the CNS and peripheral tissues. This cell line can be used to study GPR39 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
GPR39 receptors are widely distributed throughout the body, including the central nervous system (CNS), gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and other tissues. In the CNS, GPR39 receptors are found in regions such as the cortex, hippocampus, and hypothalamus. GPR39 is primarily known for its role in regulating zinc homeostasis. It is activated by zinc ions and modulates cellular responses to zinc levels in the body. Beyond zinc, GPR39 has been implicated in the regulation of other metal ions such as copper and potentially other signaling molecules.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
