Description
Purified human B cells are a type of white blood cell that plays a crucial role in the immune system. These cells are responsible for producing antibodies, which help the body fight off infections and diseases.

Human B cells are a good source of cells to study the biology of B cells and their role in the immune system. B cells are responsible for presenting antigen to T cells, producing certain cytokines, and most importantly, producing antibodies.

Quality Control
Cultures are screened for the presence of bacteries, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma (DNA amplification). Growth media are also certified based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines.
Storage
Lyophilized cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
