Rhesus macaque monkey CD3 Pan T cells, purified, are a type of immune cells that have been isolated and purified from the blood of rhesus macaque monkeys. CD3 is a cell surface marker that is expressed on T cells, a type of white blood cell that plays a key role in the body's immune response. Purified CD3 Pan T cells are important for research purposes, as they can be used to study the function and behavior of T cells in a controlled environment. Background
Rhesus CD3 pan T cells consist of both CD4 and CD8 T cells, and make up approximately 52-80% of PBMCs in a typical adult monkey. All T cells carry the CD3 protein marker and the T cell receptor (TCR), which recognizes foreign antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex molecules on antigen presenting cells to activate them.

Quality Control
Cultures are screened for the presence of bacteries, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma (DNA amplification). Growth media are also certified based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines.
Storage
Lyophilized cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
