Copines are calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins involved in membrane trafficking and protein-protein interactions. They contain two C2 domains, which are important for calcium and phospholipid binding. CPNE8 is a member of this family and does not cross-react with CPNE5.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
