For precise DNMT3A staining, utilize this ready-to-deploy IHC solution, simplifying procedures from antigen retrieval through coverslipping.
Description
DNA methylation in vertebrates is a key epigenetic modification crucial for embryonic development, imprinting, and X chromosome inactivation. This process is catalyzed by DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs), including DNMT1, DNMT3a, and DNMT3b. Overexpression of these enzymes has been linked to cancers like gastric, urothelial, and lung cancers, potentially driving tumorigenesis and affecting patient survival. Two isoforms of DNMT3a exist: the full-length DNMT3a and a shorter variant, DNMT3a2, which is highly expressed in stem cells and tissues undergoing de novo methylation, like the testis and ovary.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls: - Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest. - Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen. - Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
