Short Description
Ensure consistent PAX8 staining with this pre-prepared IHC kit, supplying reagents tailored for efficient, start-to-finish staining.
Description
PAX8 is a member of the paired box family of transcription factors involved in thyroid gland, kidney, and Mullerian system organogenesis. It regulates the expression of Wilms tumor suppressor (WT1) gene, and mutations are associated with Wilms tumor cells, thyroid, and ovarian carcinomas. PAX8 is a marker for distinguishing ovarian carcinomas from mammary carcinomas and is highly expressed in ovarian serous, endometrioid, and clear cell carcinomas.
