Description
CD1 Mouse PBMCs refer to peripheral blood mononuclear cells collected from CD1 mice for research purposes. These cells are often used in immunology and cell biology studies to investigate immune responses and cell signaling pathways in mice.
Species character
The CD1 mouse is a commonly-used outbred strain for general multipurpose studies, but has also been extensively studied in oncology, toxicology, aging, and immunology. Because they are outbred, the genetic profile of these mice is unknown. However, their immune cells (like these CD1 mouse PBMCs) are routinely used in immune-based assays when genetic information is not specified.

Quality Control
Cultures are screened for the presence of bacteries, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma (DNA amplification). Growth media are also certified based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines.
Storage
Lyophilized cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
