Description
BiliTrack™ High-Sensitivity Human ALPP ELISA Kit is a precision-engineered sandwich ELISA for detecting placental alkaline phosphatase in human samples. Optimized for ultra-low detection limits, it ensures accurate and reproducible quantification, making it ideal for studies in reproductive biology, oncology, and biomarker discovery.
Features
Ultra-sensitive detection capability enables accurate quantification of trace ALPP levels in low-abundance biological samples with high precision.
Isoform-specific antibodies ensure selective recognition of placental ALP, minimizing interference from other alkaline phosphatase isoenzymes.
Optimized sandwich ELISA platform delivers robust reproducibility and consistent results across multiple experimental runs and sample matrices.
Ready-to-use reagents and calibrated standards simplify workflows while maintaining assay stability and reducing inter-assay variability.
Process Relevance
Enables sensitive detection of ALPP to support early biomarker identification and isoenzyme-specific analysis.

Background
Placental alkaline phosphatase (ALPP) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored enzyme predominantly expressed in placental tissue. It is also aberrantly expressed in certain malignancies, serving as a clinically relevant biomarker in oncology and pregnancy-associated studies.
Pathways
ALPP is involved in phosphate metabolism and membrane-associated enzymatic processes. Its expression is regulated during trophoblast differentiation and may be upregulated in tumorigenic pathways linked to abnormal cellular proliferation and differentiation.
