Cell Culture: a Powerful Tool

In vitro cell culture is the process of growing cells in a controlled environment outside of a living organism. It serves as an essential model system for a wide range of biological and biomedical research, including drug discovery, toxicology, virology, and gene therapy. While traditional 2D cell cultures on plastic surfaces have been instrumental in the past, they often fail to replicate the complex structural organization and cellular heterogeneity of native tissues. The evolution toward more sophisticated models, such as 3D spheroids and organoids, addresses this limitation by better mimicking the in vivo environment, leading to more accurate and reliable research outcomes.

What We Can Offer

We provide custom cell culture services for epithelial cells, fibroblasts, adipocytes, muscle cells, neurons, pancreatic cells, and other tumor cells. We also offer a range of oncogene-free induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS), which include human multipotent stem cells, human adipose mesenchymal stem cells, CD34+ cord blood stem cells, and other stem cells. Moreover, culturing of mammalian cells for the production of therapeutic proteins and monoclonal antibodies is also our strength. Our cell culture experts also perform numerous types of downstream assays with the cells.
