Due to the clinical and commercial success of novel immunotherapies such as CAR-T therapy and checkpoint inhibitors, immuno-oncology has blossomed into one of the most promising areas of cancer therapy. To address the remaining immuno-oncology questions, relevant immuno-oncology platforms are required, including pre-clinical immuno-oncology animal models. Creative Biolabs has established a vast array of animal models to advance your drug discovery program.

What We Can Offer

The superior IO animal model platform has opened up fascinating lines of research for cancer immunotherapy. Selecting the appropriate animal model for your program is critically important to the success of your research. Our animal model platform allows you to get the most appropriate model before committing. Whether you are conducting a new research protocol, fine-tuning a pilot study, or simply exploring another opportunity to switch to a new immune-oncology animal model, our team can help you make the right choice. Please visit the following to check your desired models. If you are interested in any other models, please contact us for a customized solution.

Syngeneic Models

Immunocompetent murine tumor cell lines engrafted in strain-matched mice. These models provide a functional mouse immune system, making them ideal for high-throughput screening of surrogate immunotherapies and combination studies.

Humanized Models

Immunodeficient mice engrafted with human immune components (PBMCs or HSCs). These specialized platforms enable the preclinical evaluation of therapeutic agents that specifically target human immune cells or signaling pathways.

Cell Line Derived Xenografted Models (CDX models)

Standardized oncology platforms are established by implanting immortalized human cancer cell lines into immunodeficient hosts. These are highly reproducible tools for evaluating basic anti-tumor activity and initial pharmacokinetic responses.

Patient Derived Xenografted Models (PDX models)

High-fidelity platforms are established by engrafting fresh patient tumor tissue into immunodeficient mice. These models preserve the original tumor architecture and heterogeneity, offering superior predictive value for translational research.

Other Animal Models

We also provide other animal models to meet your specific demands, which allows you to assess the compatibility and quality of our animal models before making commitments.

• Immunodeficient models • Immunocompetent models • Cryopreserved oncology models • Chemical-induced cancer model

FAQs

How do Creative Biolabs' immuno-oncology models compare to traditional cell line-derived cenografts for testing immunotherapies?

Traditional CDX models lack a functional immune system, rendering them incapable of testing IO agents. Our models, including syngeneics and MTHs, possess an intact or reconstituted immune system, allowing for the critical evaluation of immune engagement, T-cell activation, and cytokine release - factors essential for IO success.

We are developing a CAR-T cell therapy. Is the short study duration of Hu-PBMC models a concern?

We understand the concern regarding graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) in PBMC models. For extended studies and therapies requiring multi-lineage immune cells (like CAR-T), we strongly recommend our Hu-HSC reconstituted models, which offer a more complete and stable human immune compartment for long-term safety and efficacy analysis.

How to Contact Us

Our in vivo pre-clinical testing can seamlessly establish animal models in vivo, carry out research, and read out endpoints to determine the mechanism of action, PD/PK profile, and toxicology in animal models. Creative Biolabs aims to construct an almost complete immuno-oncology animal model platform to facilitate all immunotherapy research. Please contact us if you want to learn more. We are committed to providing you with the best service.
