Description
CD4+ T cells, also known as helper T cells, play a crucial role in the immune system by helping to coordinate the immune response to infections and diseases. CD4+ T cells obtained from cord blood have several advantages over those obtained from adult blood. They are more naïve and have a higher proliferative capacity, which makes them ideal for certain research and therapeutic applications.

CD4+ cells are white blood cells that fight infection and play an important role in your immune system. They aid the activity of other immune cells by releasing cytokines. CD4+T cells recognise peptides presented on MHC class II molecules, which are found on antigen presenting cells (APCs).
