Description The GALNT17 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks GALNT17 protein, a polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 17 predicted to be involved in O-linked glycosylation. GALNT17 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells provides a model to investigate O-linked glycosylation disruption's role in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting vesicle transport and related cellular processes in rhabdoid tumors.
