GlycoErase™ PTGER4 Knockout HEK293 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF477)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ PTGER4 knockout HEK293 cell line is a HEK293 model without PTGER4 expression. PTGER4 encodes a prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) receptor, a GPCR that activates TCF signaling, regulates COX-2 mRNA stability, and promotes phosphorylation of GSK3. The knockout enables exploration of prostaglandin-driven immune responses, inflammation, and tumor signaling in human cells, supporting applications in immunology, oncology, and inflammation-targeted therapies.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PTGER4
Full Name Prostaglandin E Receptor 4
Alternative Name EP4; EP4R
Location 5p13.1
Gene ID 5734
Summary The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor family and is one of four receptors for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). It can activate T-cell factor signaling, mediate PGE2-induced expression of early growth response 1 (EGR1), modulate cyclooxygenase-2 mRNA stability, and promote phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase-3. Mouse knockout studies suggest roles in neonatal cardiovascular adaptation, osteoporosis, and initiating skin immune responses.
