GlycoFlux™ Human PHKG2 Overexpression HEK293T Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF555)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PHKG2 overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses the hepatic γ2 catalytic subunit of phosphorylase kinase. It enables liver-style glycogenolytic regulation to study glycan remodeling, bile-acid receptor glycosylation, and secretion under nutrient shift paradigms.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PHKG2
Full Name Phosphorylase Kinase Catalytic Subunit Gamma 2
Alternative Name GSD9C
Location 16p11.2
Gene ID 5261
Summary The hepatic gamma isoform of phosphorylase kinase is encoded by this gene, part of a 16-subunit complex. The gamma subunit contains the active site, with alpha and beta serving regulatory functions. Defects cause glycogen storage disease type 9C (autosomal liver glycogenosis). Several splice isoforms have been described.
