Metapneumovirus
Metapneumovirus is a negative-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the Pneumoviridae family, and the human metapneumovirus (HMPV) and avian metapneumovirus (AMPV) are typical species in this genus. HMPV was isolated in 2001 and is one of the most common pathogens causing lower respiratory tract infections in children, the infection cases caused by which is second only to human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The human metapneumovirus contains at least four lineages of A1, A2, B1 and B2, while the avian metapneumovirus has been divided into four subgroups A, B, C and D. Metapneumoviruses are distributed throughout the world and usually cause milder infections, but they can be more severe for people with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.CAT | Product Name | Source | Product Overview | Target | Type | Datasheet | Size | Price |
