Description B4GALT3 knockout Jurkat cell line lacks B4GALT3 protein, beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase 3, a member of beta4GalT family with diverse glycosylation functions. B4GALT3 knockout in Jurkat cells allows investigation of glycoconjugate biosynthesis disruption in T-cell leukemia, potentially affecting diverse beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase dependent glycosylation pathways and highlighting complexity of beta4GalT roles in tumor glycosylation.
