Description GlycoErase™ PCK2 knockout HEK293T cell line is a human embryonic kidney (HEK293T) model lacking PCK2 expression. PCK2 encodes the mitochondrial isoform of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK-M), catalyzing oxaloacetate-to-PEP conversion with GTP. Its removal in HEK293T cells allows studies of mitochondrial contributions to gluconeogenesis, metabolic adaptability, and human-specific energy regulation.
