GlycoFlux™ Human PPP1R3C Overexpression HEK293 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF458)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R3C overexpression HEK293 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses PPP1R3C, a carbohydrate-binding PP1 subunit that activates glycogen synthase and limits glycogen breakdown. It supports screens that couple metabolic rewiring to glycoform outcomes, including enhancement of branching enzymes' access and reduction of high-mannose carryover.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PPP1R3C
Full Name Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 3C
Alternative Name PTG; PPP1R5
Location 10q23.32
Gene ID 5507
Summary This gene encodes a carbohydrate-binding protein subunit of PP1, which promotes glycogen synthesis by activating glycogen synthase and limiting glycogen breakdown via reduced phosphorylase activity. Hypermethylation of this gene has been reported in colorectal cancer.
