Introduction
Liposome is a spherical vesicle having at least one lipid bilayer. The molecules can be incorporated into the lipid bilayers by the nature of hydrophobic interactions and the solubility of drug or antigen therefore could be significantly enhanced. Due to their size and hydrophobic and hydrophilic character, liposomes are promising systems for drug or vaccine delivery.
