GlycoErase™ B4GALT2 Knockout KD Cell Line

The B4GALT2 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks B4GALT2 protein, beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase 2, a member of the beta4GalT family with diverse glycosylation functions. B4GALT2 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells enables study of glycoconjugate biosynthesis disruption in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting diverse beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase dependent glycosylation pathways and revealing functional redundancy/specificity within the beta4GalT family in rhabdoid tumors.
