Product Description Asp-N protease (sequencing grade) is a sequencing grade endoprotease that specifically cleaves peptide bonds N-terminal to aspartic acid (Asp) and glutamic acid (Glu) residues. The enzyme exhibits optimal activity in the pH range of 4.0 to 9.0, making it suitable for a wide range of experimental conditions. The enzyme can be used alone or in combination with other proteases to improve protein digestion efficiency. Asp-N is suitable for both in-solution and in-gel digestion processes.
