Description
This UGGT2 knockout (HEK293F) cell line lacks the UGGT2 protein, a UDP-glucose glycoprotein glucosyltransferase 2. UDP-glucose glycoprotein glucosyltransferase is a soluble protein of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that selectively reglucosylates unfolded glycoproteins, thus providing quality control for proteins. Loss of UGGT2 function may impair protein folding quality control.
